The BMW snap-in adapter universal enables the secure docking and particularly fast charging of devices with micro USB port. In addition, telephone calls can be received through the built-in loud speakers and music saved on the telephone can be played for entertainment purposes. Depending on the car and its equipment, album covers can also be shown in the vehicle display. For optimal network connection, and thus constantly optimum reception, the smartphone is connected to the car’s external antenna via the snap-in adapter. The device can be conveniently operated via the iDrive Controller or the multi-function buttons on the steering wheel. Furthermore many smartphone functions can be activated via the BMW Connected App.
